Save That Lead is a missed-call text-back service used by small local service businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, lawn care, photographers, salons). When a consumer calls a participating business and the call goes unanswered, the business's dedicated phone number sends the caller one automated SMS acknowledging the missed call and offering follow-up. Messages are transactional customer-care replies to a call the consumer initiated. Save That Lead never sends marketing or promotional messages under this program.
Consent is established by the consumer's own action: they place a phone call to the business. No phone lists are uploaded, purchased, or imported, and no number is ever texted unless it first called a participating business. When a call goes unanswered and a text-back is triggered, the caller — still on the line — hears the following audio notice before the call ends:
“Sorry we missed your call. You'll receive a text message from this number shortly so we can follow up. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.”
The caller then receives a single text message from the same business phone number they dialed. The system is technically incapable of texting a number that has not first placed a call to a participating business, and no message is ever sent unless the call goes unanswered and the disclosure above has played.
Caller dials the business → call goes unanswered → caller hears the recorded disclosure on the line → one SMS is sent from the same number → caller can reply STOP to opt out at any time.
One (1) message per missed call. Duplicate texts to the same caller within a short window are automatically suppressed. Message and data rates may apply per the consumer's carrier plan.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out — no further messages will be sent to that number. Reply HELP for help at any time, or contact support@savethatlead.com. Opt-outs are honored immediately and permanently unless the consumer re-subscribes by replying START.
