Save That Lead (“Save That Lead,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a missed-call text-back service for small service businesses. When a customer calls a business that subscribes to Save That Lead and the call goes unanswered, our platform sends one automated SMS from the business's dedicated number so the caller is not lost.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to two groups of people: (a) subscribers — the businesses that create Save That Lead accounts, and (b) message recipients — consumers who call a subscribing business and receive a text-back. This is the only privacy policy that applies to Save That Lead and its messaging program.
From subscribers: name, email address, business name and industry, business phone number, password credentials, message template content, and billing references. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
From message recipients: the caller's phone number, call metadata (time of call, number dialed, call status), the content of the automated message sent, and any reply the recipient sends (including STOP, HELP, and START keywords).
Automatically: standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to operate the website.
We use information solely to provide and operate the Save That Lead service: delivering the single missed-call text-back, notifying the subscribing business of its missed calls and leads, processing subscription payments, providing customer support, preventing fraud and abuse, honoring opt-outs, and complying with telecommunications, messaging, and payment regulations. We do not use message recipients' information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the missed-call text-back service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.
Consumers opt in to the messaging program by placing a phone call to a subscribing business; before the text is sent, the caller hears a recorded notice on the line disclosing that a text will follow. Message frequency is one (1) message per missed call. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. The complete consent flow, the verbatim audio disclosure, and sample messages are published in our SMS Consent & Messaging Disclosure.
We never sell personal information, and we never share it for marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with the service providers required to operate the platform, and only so they can perform services for us: our telecommunications and SMS provider (Twilio) to route calls and deliver messages, our payment processor (Stripe) to handle subscription billing, and our cloud hosting and database providers to run the application. Each provider is bound to use the information only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of Save That Lead, our subscribers, or the public.
We retain account information for as long as a subscriber's account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Call and message records are retained while the subscribing business's account is active so the business can manage its leads, and are deleted or de-identified after account closure, except where retention is required for opt-out enforcement (we keep opted-out numbers suppressed) or by law.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, role-restricted access to production data, and webhook signature verification on all telephony callbacks. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
Message recipients: reply STOP to any message to permanently opt out (reply START to re-subscribe), or reply HELP for assistance. Subscribers: you may access, update, or delete your account information in Settings, or ask us to do so. Anyone may email support@savethatlead.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Save That Lead is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and, for material changes affecting subscribers, notify account holders by email. The current version will always be available at this URL.
